  • Public Servant

    Since 2019, she has represented District 6 on the La Crosse City Council. In 2023, her colleagues elected her President of the Council. Her public service began in the early 2000 with service on the Board of Park Commissioners and the Heritage Preservation Commission. She is the only candidate for Mayor who has experience in City government and as an elected leader.

  • Small Business Owner

    Born and raised in Mayville, WI, a small river town in southeastern Wisconsin, Chris graduated from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.  She started two small businesses, which are still operating today. On the City Council, Chris has focused the issues that matter most to the people she serves: public safety, protecting and improving our parks, working collaboratively on housing and homelessness issues.

    She has also been an active participant in revitalizing La Crosse’s downtown, rehabilitating several historic homes. Chris is a mom to two adult children, both graduates of La Crosse public schools.
